Your privacy whilst browsing and using our website is very important to us and something we take very seriously. What data do we collect?
The only data we collect on our website is the information you enter whilst you make a purchase on our website. This includes your first name, last name, address, contact number and post code. We also require (in cases when you register on our website or to send order confirmations), your email address. We do not share these details with anyone. We also do not store, nor will we ever envisage to retaining any payment details such as your credit/debit card details.
How do you protect my payments online?
We can assure you that every order you make on our website is safe. We use strict security precautions to make our website safe, including the use of a Secure Socket Layer (SSL) server. Any information you enter while you're using the secure server is encrypted before being transmitted, so it is virtually impossible for an outside party to access or intercept your information.
Furthermore, we ensure all payments are made securely and with a means of giving you peace of mind when you use our website. We use Elavon and PayPal to manage the payment process (which is why we don't ever store your payment details). We also recognised as an eTrusted website meaning payments up to and including £ 2,500 are protected. We trust all payments are securely and safely managed by our partners Elavon and Paypal.
Third Party Services
At Hifonix we do make use of third-party services, namely from Google to analyse the behaviour of customers online so that we can cater exactly to their needs. During this process, no personal customer data is stored. The only data we monitor are the links you visit whilst browsing on our website so be rest assured that no sensitive data is held on our systems.
Cookies
Cookies are small files which are stored on a user's computer. They are designed to hold a modest amount of data specific to a particular client and website, and can be accessed either by the web server or the client computer. This allows the server to deliver a page tailored to a particular user, or the page itself can contain some script which is aware of the data in the cookie and so is able to carry information from one visit to the website (or related site) to the next.
